The lecture on Tuesday, 27 April, from 7 to 8.30 p.m., will explore the future of the energy transition and provide extensive knowledge. Attendance is free of charge. Europe and Germany have set themselves ambitious climate protection targets: by the middle of the century at the latest, we should be living in a climate-neutral way and be supplied by renewable energies. But can the sun and wind even meet our energy needs? What will future energy landscapes look like? What are the effects of the energy transition on our society? What consequences will it have for the development of jobs in Germany, for example? The evening will focus on all questions relating to the energy transition.
The presentation will provide insights into the expansion of renewable energies. Join the discussion on how a socially just and sustainable energy transition can succeed. The speaker, Dr Diana Süsser, works at the Institute for Transformative Sustainability Research in Potsdam and researches the political and technological dynamics of the energy transition.
