Many people are currently experiencing an increasingly hectic pace of life and a growing number of choices. There are hardly any self-evident things or taboos left. This makes living together much more difficult. What was certain yesterday is being questioned today and may no longer apply tomorrow. No one knows where this will lead, but most people suspect that society may be in the midst of a major shift in consciousness of historic proportions. This is not only frightening, it is also leading to a crisis.
Prof Dr Johannes Soukup studied theoretical physics and, after 1989, philosophy and ran a private university. He has been intensively involved with ideological and religious issues for 35 years. He is guided by curiosity and a strong desire for both understanding and truthfulness.
