The challenge of media education - for volunteers in child and youth work
Adult education centre: Online lecture on 25 January, from 6.30 to 8 pm
On Wednesday, 25 January, from 6.30 to 7 p.m., the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to the online event "The challenge of media education - for volunteers in child and youth work". The lecture from the "Forum Ehrenamt" series is intended to enable volunteers to support children and young people or their parents in dealing responsibly with media.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is possible until 25 January, 12 noon online or by telephone on 0371 488 4343. Access data will be sent by email at least three hours before the event begins.
The presentation will describe how children and young people use media. Based on this, there will be practical tips - from the first smartphone and digital games to media usage times and media addiction.
The event is being organised in cooperation with the Chemnitz Community Foundation and the Chemnitz City Sports Association. It is part of the media literacy project "trau.schau.wem? faktenfest und mediensicher" and is funded by the Saxon State Media Authority (SLM).
