France and Germany have an intensive and complex relationship. Now that the presidential election is coming up in our neighbouring country, its outcome will not only have an impact on this relationship, but on European politics as a whole. Where is France heading? And what changes are we facing in the political culture of the Fifth Republic?
The event, which is scheduled exactly between the first and the all-important second round of the presidential election, will take a look at the current situation and the consequences of the possible outcome of the election.
Political scientist and France expert Prof Dr Dr h. c. Ingo Kolboom from Dresden will be speaking.
