The adult education centre is back on the market!

The VHS reopens on 19 August - winter semester starts on 9 September Distribution of the semester programme on the Neumarkt on 20 August

The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is back on the market - in two senses of the word. Next Monday, 19 August, the new VHS programme catalogue for the winter semester will be published. All new courses and lectures are clearly summarised here.

One day later, on 20 August, the adult education centre will have its own stand on Neumarkt from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., right next to the weekly market taking place at the same time. The staff will be handing out the new programme booklet for the winter semester and will be happy to talk to visitors to the weekly market and provide information about the courses on offer. In addition to the usual varied programme, the printing techniques monograph and algraphy are among the new courses on offer. Due to popular demand, additional courses have been added in Norwegian and Hungarian. And in keeping with autumn, a series of courses will focus on mushrooms: edible mushrooms as well as moulds will be examined in detail. The Café Philo discussion series is also being continued, this time on the subject of the future.

The adult education centre's winter semester begins on 9 September 2019.

Tip: From Monday, 19 August, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre will be open late three days a week. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, visitors can register at the Adult Education Centre's information desk from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. The counter is closed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
