Test Chemnitz knowledge and become an "Official Bots©hafter"
Ambassador test on www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de starts today
Where does Chemnitz get its name from? A convinced Chemnitz cyclist rides bikes of which brand? Which of the following useful everyday objects was invented in Chemnitz? What does a Chemnitz resident understand by a "mnemonic bridge"? Georgius Agricola was...?
Which Chemnitz club is one of the 10 best clubs in Germany according to INTRO magazine?
These and, for the time being, 18 other questions about Chemnitz can be found from today in the official ambassador test on the website www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de. All Chemnitz residents are invited to put their knowledge of the third largest city in the new federal states to the test and become "Official Bots©hafter". The reward is respect and recognition. The city appoints every successful graduate who answers more than three quarters of the questions correctly as an "Official Bots©hafter for Chemnitz". They receive a small ambassador pack with the insignia of the office. This also includes an official ID card so that every Chemnitz resident can now travel to Tokyo, Rio or Halberstadt and represent their city in a visibly worthy manner.
The "Official Bots©hafter Test for Chemnitz" can be found online at www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de.
Keyword "The city is me"
The people of Chemnitz are at the centre of the new communication concept. They describe their attitude to life, profess the good sides of their city and thus become ambassadors for a strong Chemnitz worth living in. The campaign advertises with the inviting motto "The city is me". This year, people in the city and surrounding area will be addressed first in order to jointly develop what is important for the city's identity and then, next year, to get Chemnitz talking outside the city. The online dialogue platform www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de is at the heart of the campaign.
