Teacher delegation from the USA visits the town hall

Mayor Barbara Ludwig will receive an American delegation from the Transatlantic Exchange Programme on Friday, 22 June at 4 pm in the City Council Chamber. The delegation includes around 20 teachers from various US states and the US Consul General in Saxony, Timothy Eydelnant.
Media representatives are cordially invited to attend.
The Transatlantic Exchange Programme is an educational programme for American history and social studies teachers to become better acquainted with local school life and cultural, political and economic structures. In co-operation with the Goethe-Institut Washington, the German Federal Foreign Office, the Robert Bosch Foundation and Deutsche Bank, the joint project has been taking place annually since 2002.
