Swing on Berbisdorfer Kirchweg playground closed
Replacement of the play equipment is planned
The swing at the Berbisdorfer Kirchweg playground in the Einsiedel district of Chemnitz must now be permanently closed due to the progressive decay of the wood on the posts of the swing.
The stability of the wood has deteriorated to such an extent, particularly in the contact zone with the fall protection surface and in the area of the foundations of the uprights, that further use of the swing is not justifiable.
During this year's Berbisdorf funfair, comments and ideas for the playground were submitted. After analysing the comments, the playground equipment will be replaced.
