Swimming and family festival at the Gablenz outdoor pool
Next Saturday, 16 July 2016, there will be a swimming and family festival for young and old at the Gablenz outdoor pool from 10 am.
There will be various competitions throughout the day:
Sliding race: The slide race starts at 11.15 am. Registration is possible from 10.30 to 11 am.
Head long jump: Entries for the head long jump will be accepted from 12.30 pm. The competition with approx. 3 attempts will take place from 1.15 pm.
Aquarunning: You can also register for the 500 metre aquarunning competition from 12.30 pm. The competition starts at the same time as the head long jump.
Jumping contest: The jumping contest will be held from 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm. Entries can be submitted from 2.30 to 3.00 pm.
In addition to the competitions, the bubble mobile will be available to visitors from 10 am to 3 pm. A "Swimolino" taster course will take place in the diving pool from 11 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 2 pm. The taster course gives those who are undecided the opportunity to try out swimming with a mermaid fin. Here you can borrow a fin and swim for yourself. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can also try your hand at taster diving.
