Sweets also have their place - "sugar traps" and the best alternatives

The adult education centre invites you to an online lecture on sugar and its alternatives on Thursday 26 November from 5 to 6.30 pm.
Participation is free of charge. Anyone interested can register at www.vhs-chemnitz.de by 3 p.m. on 26 November and will then receive an access link by email on the day of the event.
Most children love sweets and snacks. And they don't have to give them up completely. Healthy eating and sweets are not mutually exclusive. But it is important for parents and children to know where sugar is hidden - and not just in sweets, but also in supposedly sugar-free foods.
The course provides interesting facts about sugar and dental hygiene, gives recommendations on the appropriate amount of sugar for children and on natural alternatives. It also explains how to recognise sugar in the list of ingredients and where the classic "sugar traps" lurk.
