Survey on the Chemnitz Official Gazette
In the coming days, 6,000 randomly selected Chemnitz residents will receive a letter by post containing a questionnaire for a survey with which the City of Chemnitz wants to find out how the official gazette is used and what changes or improvements are required.
The Official Gazette is the official information and announcement journal of the City of Chemnitz, containing information on municipal projects or decisions, official announcements, including public notices, as well as events and happenings that affect the City of Chemnitz. For many years, the printed version of the official gazette has been delivered to every household in Chemnitz every week and posted online at www.chemnitz.de. It has also been sent out as a newsletter since June.
For many Chemnitz residents, it is a reliable and familiar source of information.
The aim of the survey is to find out readers' assessments and opinions on some aspects of the distribution and content of the official gazette.
Participation in the survey takes about five minutes and is, of course, voluntary. The information will be treated confidentially and analysed anonymously.
There are two ways for the selected Chemnitz residents to take part in the survey:
- Either online at www.chemnitz.de/amtsblattbefragung. The required access code is included in the personalised cover letter.
- Alternatively, the questionnaire enclosed with the cover letter can be completed and returned free of charge (without stating the sender's name) in the enclosed envelope. The required district number is also included in the cover letter.
Questions can be directed to the public authority telephone number 115 or by e-mail: d115(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
Further information can be found on the questionnaire and at www.chemnitz.de.
Chemnitz residents who are not included in the sample and therefore do not receive a cover letter but would still like to take part in the survey have the opportunity to do so by completing the questionnaire at the link www.chemnitz.de/amtsblattumfrage.
