Support for those affected by the police operation in Usti nad Labem Street
Most of the residents evacuated as a result of the police operation in Usti nad Labem Street have found private accommodation. A few have taken advantage of the accommodation offered by the city. After consultation with the police, a return to the flats is expected to be possible on Monday afternoon at the earliest. From the time they return to their flats, staff from the city and GGG will be on site to assist the residents with any problems that arise.
Childcare in the centre at 119 Usti nad Labem Street is guaranteed on Monday. On Monday morning, a hotline for parents will be available from 6 a.m. at the Youth Welfare Office on 0371/488-5124. An employee of the Youth Welfare Office will also be available on site from 6 am to answer questions.
Mayor Barbara Ludwig explains: "For the citizens affected by the police operation, we will do everything we can to improve their living situation again as quickly as possible and to support them with any problems that have arisen."
Affected citizens can contact a hotline if they have any questions. From Monday, the public authority number 115 will be available from 8am. Police officers will also be on hand to answer any further questions.
