Summer League" event on 14 July 2018
Closure of the Brückenstraße
The U20 European Basketball Championships will take place in Chemnitz from next Saturday. In addition to the games, there will be a streetball tournament, the so-called Summer League, on 14 July from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in which players will play 3-on-3. The event is organised by the German Basketball Federation.
Due to the extensive construction work (including the installation of a parquet floor and basket systems), the following traffic closures are necessary:
- Closure of Brückenstraße between Straße der Nationen and Theater-/ Mühlenstraße (according to the general plan) from Friday, 13 July, 4 p.m. to Saturday, 14 July, midnight
- No stopping in the "Rondell" car park in Brückenstraße (in front of the State Office for Taxation and Finance) from 12 noon on Friday, 13 July until midnight on Saturday, 14 July.
- No stopping in parking bays along Brückenstraße from Friday, 13 July, 3 pm to Saturday, 14 July, midnight.
CVAG will announce any changes to bus services separately.
