Writing down. Bringing the written word to life means reading it. Reading aloud. Strolling reading is speaking in motion.
On 2 and 3 July, between 6 and 8 pm, 20 writing, reading citizens of the world from and around Chemnitz will present their own and other people's texts in a literary-musical performance in the shop window of the "Karl liebt Käthe" gallery in the TIETZ. The event can also be followed as a livestream at www.flanierlesen.de. Admission is free.

Flanierlesen is a joint project by: Team Ent_Rüstet/TU Chemnitz, Bordsteinlobby e. V., die Buntmacher*innen, Frauenzentrum Lila Villa, Galerie Karl liebt Käthe, greenscale, Horizont Magazin, Kollektiv Lieber Wolf, Neue Sächsische Galerie and Stadtbibliothek Chemnitz.
Flanierlesen takes place as part of the Cultursommer Chemnitz 2021 programme and is part of the Kosmos Chemnitz festival.
