Streetrunner on the road: Brühl clip premieres

The website at www.chemnitz-bruehl.de now provides comprehensive information on the latest news, development goals and funding opportunities

Two street runners jump from the striking entrance gate of the Brühlboulevard, run down the boulevard with all kinds of acrobatics, through corridors and backyards - past astonished passers-by, craftsmen and shopkeepers - and conquer their own piece of Brühl in the finale. This is the story of the clip for the Brühl, which was commissioned by the city of Chemnitz. The fast-paced chase, which lasts just under two minutes, was realised by the Chemnitz agency my:uniquate with around 50 actors and extras. The film can now be seen on chemnitz.de, on YouTube and also at the Filmnächte am Theaterplatz.

"We show in an extraordinary way the spirit of optimism that is currently palpable at Brühl," says Brühl manager Urs Luczak. "And we want to use the film to make interested parties - whether potential tenants of flats and shops, students, families or initiatives - want to discover Brühl and secure a piece of Brühl for themselves."

The Brühl Office of the City of Chemnitz is now also offering comprehensive information about these opportunities on its own website. The site, developed by the Chemnitz agency "Haus E", provides information on current events at Brühl, investment opportunities and projects. There is also information on the framework plan for the future university quarter and the various funding and consultancy options available to investors and businesses.

"The new site is primarily intended to be a contact point and virtual notice board for all interested parties, bringing them together," says Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig. Students can use the site to look for flatmates, tenants can browse for offers of modernised flats or find fellow campaigners for their own ideas.
