Street tree planting on the Kaßberg

Building Mayor Michael Stötzer will inspect the newly planted street trees on Henriettenstraße, between Franz-Mehring-Straße and Erich-Mühsam-Straße, together with representatives of the citizens' initiative tomorrow, 9 May at 3 pm.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event.
Since the beginning of this week, new street trees have been planted on Henriettenstraße, between Franz-Mehring-Straße and Erich-Mühsam-Straße, and on Weststraße, at the corner of Hübschmannstraße and Andréstraße. The planting work on Henriettenstraße is expected to be completed on 10 May and that on Weststraße on 15 May.
After the pavements in the aforementioned street areas were repaired in recent years and old street trees had to be felled due to their very poor condition, new street trees are now being planted in the newly created tree discs. Nine lime trees will be planted on Henriettenstrasse and three maple trees on Weststrasse.
