Statement by Lord Mayor Sven Schulze on the topic of the hydrogen core network
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze: "This decision is a disappointment for me. The Chemnitz Hydrogen Campus being built here is one of four national hydrogen centres. There is also a high demand from industry in the region of south-west Saxony. We have also repeatedly emphasised all of this in Berlin. Today's decision is therefore difficult to accept and incomprehensible. I hope that our members of the Bundestag in Berlin can help to ensure that the concept is improved and that Chemnitz and the region are given a real perspective for a connection to the core network."
