State election 2024 - provisional final result of the constituencies

Peter Wilhelm Patt, Alexander Dierks and Ines Saborowski enter the Saxon state parliament directly - voter turnout significantly higher than five years ago - district election committee determines final election results on 6 September

Chemnitz has voted: In the Saxon state parliamentary elections, the candidates Peter Wilhelm Patt (constituency 9 Chemnitz 1), Alexander Dierks (constituency 10 Chemnitz 2) and Ines Saborowski (constituency 11 Chemnitz 3) received the most votes in the three constituencies and thus entered the state parliament as directly elected representatives.

The summarised list vote result for the three constituencies in the city of Chemnitz is as follows:

At 72.82 per cent, voter turnout was significantly higher than five years ago.

A total of 183,177 Chemnitz residents were called to vote this time.

45,269 eligible voters had already voted in advance by postal ballot.

Final election results for the constituencies will be determined by the district electoral committee

On Friday, 6 September at 10 a.m., the district electoral committee for constituencies 9 Chemnitz 1, 10 Chemnitz 2 and 11 Chemnitz 3 for the state election on 1 September 2024 will meet to determine and establish the final election results for these constituencies.

The meeting will take place in the City Hall, Markt 1, City Council Chamber, and is open to the public. Anyone who is interested may attend.
