On Monday, 23 February, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre starts the summer semester. There is already a lot on the programme on the first day of the new semester. A total of 13 courses - including courses in English, French, Italian, Hebrew, Russian, Swedish and Spanish, as well as the first stitches in knitting - await numerous participants. A further 45 programmes will start in the following days of the kick-off week.
In particular, language and exercise courses lasting several weeks will start before the end of the first month of the semester. All interested parties are therefore advised to register now in order to secure their participation in one of the coveted programmes - without missing the first session.
Looking forward to 23 instructive weeks
There is plenty to discover throughout the summer semester. The adult education centre has put together a programme with almost 600 courses from six different subject areas. Further events will be added in the coming weeks. The current programme can be found at www.vhs-chemnitz.de.
One particular highlight is the country special China. From 16 to 27 March 2026, a wide range of events will invite you to explore the country with its language, traditions and, last but not least, its cuisine.
