Start of the penultimate construction project on Neefestraße
Ramps to Neefepark and Clemens-Winkler-Straße are opened to traffic
Tomorrow, 11 October, construction phase 3.4 on Neefestraße will be completed. This will be followed by the penultimate phase of the overall project (phase 4.1), during which the temporary central reservation crossings will be removed and the planting pits prepared for subsequent tree planting.
To carry out this work, it is necessary to close the left-hand lane of Neefestraße. Neefestraße will remain open to traffic in both directions and the ramps to Neefepark and Clemens-Winkler-Straße will be reopened to traffic.
The alternative access route to Neefepark via Tuchschererstraße will remain open.
Phase 4.1 will last until 15 November 2024. The subsequent final construction phase (4.2) will be completed by the end of November 2024.
This means that the extremely challenging construction project will be completed on time and will be fully usable. Minor, non-disruptive work will then be completed on the left-hand lane.
