On Monday, 11 November, the final construction phase (phase 4.2) of the overall Neefestraße project will begin - one week earlier than originally planned.

In this final phase, the temporary road widening in the area of the southern ramp and the temporary bus stop will be removed. In addition, the planting pits in the side area will be created in preparation for the subsequent tree planting.

The city-bound exit of the southern ramp will be closed for this work, but access to Neefepark will still be possible. Exit in the city direction is possible via the north ramp in the landward direction and via the motorway slip road in the direction of Hof and exit in the direction of the city centre. Alternatively, the exit via Tuchschererstraße and Carl-von-Bach-Straße (bus lock) can also be used.

The work will be completed by the end of November 2024. This means that the extremely challenging construction project will be completed on time and the centre will be fully usable. Minor, non-disruptive work will then be completed on the left-hand lane.
