Start of road construction on Wilhelm-Külz-Platz

On Monday, 9 May 2016, construction work will begin on the expansion of the streets at Wilhelm-Külz-Platz.

Following the redesign and renovation of the square, the renovation of Straße der Nationen and Josephinenstraße in the immediate vicinity, the streets around Wilhelm-Külz-Platz will now also be renovated.

In addition to the road sections, the pavements will also be completely rebuilt. As part of the project, Telekom also intends to carry out expansion measures for broadband development.

The construction work will be carried out in two sections (extension of Josephinenstraße to Müllerstraße and road connection to Straße der Nationen), each of which will be fully closed.

Access to the houses will be guaranteed. The driveways will be closed in consultation with the owners.

Construction is scheduled to end on 29 July 2016. Faber Bau GmbH from Drebach has been commissioned to carry out the construction work. The total cost of the project is around 150,000 euros.
