Start of construction on the Schloßteichinsel
The renovation of the pavilion on the Schloßteichinsel began in 2018, although there was a pause due to the utilisation of construction capacity. Construction companies have now been contracted for further construction progress so that the renovation work can continue on Tuesday, 9 April 2019.
Work has already begun on setting up the construction site today. The aim is to restore the music pavilion, which consists of a stage and side wing, in line with its listed status and to modernise its functionality. The municipal budget has set aside 400,000 euros for this purpose. The main parts of the renovation work will be completed by the end of September 2019. A utilisation concept will be developed in the coming months until the construction work is completed.
