Increased traffic volume - car park overview - use of special buses
Due to the "Stars for free" concert, which starts on Friday, 28 August 2015, from 6 pm in the Chemnitz Arena, increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring between 3 pm and 8 pm.
Due to the construction site on Neefestraße between the Chemnitz-Süd motorway exit and Südring, there is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the area of the Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße !
Please be sure to follow the alternative routes indicated.
Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street.

The concert ticket entitles the holder to free travel throughout the Mittelsachsen public transport network (VMS) from four hours before and up to six hours after the event (combined ticket).
After the end of the event, Messe Chemnitz will operate special buses. Buses will be waiting at the Jaenickestraße bus stop. The last departures from Messe Chemnitz in the direction of the main railway station will be at 11.28 p.m. and 11.58 p.m. (night connection 23.45 p.m. and 0.15 a.m. central bus stop).
