Stars for free" concert on 26 August 2016 in the Chemnitz Arena
On Friday, 26 August 2016, the "stars for free" concert will take place in the Chemnitz Arena from 6 pm. In the period from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring.
There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the Chemnitz-Süd exit area and on Neefestraße. (See overview map.)

Approach via the A72 motorway/ AS Rottluff
Kalkstraße - Limbacher Straße - Reichsstraße - Zwickauer Straße
Approach via the motorway A4/ AS Mitte
Leipziger Straße - Reichsstraße - Zwickauer Straße
Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street.
The information boards on parking facilities and the instructions of the stewards must be observed.
The concert ticket entitles the holder to free travel throughout the Mittelsachsen public transport network (VMS) from four hours before and up to six hours after the event (combined ticket).
After the end of the event, Messe Chemnitz will operate special buses. Buses will be waiting at the Jaenickestraße bus stop. The last departures from Messe Chemnitz in the direction of the main railway station will be at 11.28 p.m. and 11.58 p.m. (night connection 23.45 p.m. and 0.15 a.m. ZH).
