Standardised implementation of the garage concept
At its meeting today, the city council decided to implement the garage concept in a standardised manner. This goes back to a resolution from 2017 (B-086/2017).
Specifically, this concerns the garage community "An der Dürerschule", which has around 500 members. The garage community receives an amendment to the usage agreement (4th addendum to the usage agreement from 1972). The new version ensures equal treatment of all garage communities.
The new contract regulates the payment of usage fees, which have applied to all users of communal garage properties since 1 January 2018. Accordingly, a garage parking space costs 100 euros per year, i.e. 80 euros usage fee plus 20 euros for ancillary costs.
If the garage community does not accept the new usage contract by 31 May 2021, the old usage contract will be terminated subject to the notice period.
