Staff reinforcements wanted for swimming pools

For the 2020 outdoor pool season, the city's sports department is once again looking for reinforcements from April to December:

  • as a lifeguard (11 euros gross/hour)
  • as a cashier with cleaning activities (10.50 euros gross/hour)
  • as a cleaner (9.50 euros/hour)

for the outdoor swimming pools in Gablenz, Wittgensdorf and Einsiedel. In bad weather, it is also possible to work in the municipal indoor pools.

For those interested:
The next Chemnitz Water Rescue lifeguard course starts on 2 March 2020 at 6.30 pm in the city pool, seminar room. Registration at www.wasserwacht-chemnitz.de or via ausbildung(at)wasserwacht-chemnitz.de.

The course with the German Life Saving Association (DLRG) will take place on 22 April 2020, 5 to 6.30 pm, at the VHS Chemnitz in the TIETZ. Registration is via the adult education centre. Information is also available at info(at)chemnitz.dlrg.de
