St Nicholas abseils down at the paediatric surgery department

On Wednesday, 6 December, at around 2.15 pm, Father Christmas will once again abseil down from Chemnitz Hospital to bring a little joy to young patients. With this event, the professional fire brigade of the city of Chemnitz is once again taking part in a nationwide day of action organised by Germany's professional fire brigades.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend. The campaign starts at the paediatric surgery department and can be seen in front of the main entrance at Flemmingstraße 2. Among other things, a Christmas angel will abseil down from the basket of a turntable ladder. Afterwards, St Nicholas will walk to the children's wards and also deliver small gifts.
