Spring cleaning in the Reitbahn neighbourhood
On Friday, 15 April 2016, from 10 a.m., the brooms will be swung in the Reitbahn district to sweep away the remnants of autumn and winter.Citizens, traders, representatives of Chemnitz City Council, pupils from the Annenschule, young people from the youth church, residents of the ASB residential home for severely physically disabled people, children from the local children's centre and the local school will be gathering here.physically disabled people, children from the local day-care centres and other stakeholders in the Reitbahn district (Chemnitz Community Foundation, Reitbahnhaus, Heim gGmbH early intervention centre, etc.).) to clean their neighbourhood together.
In doing so, the users open their eyes to their immediate surroundings and get to know the residents. This leads to an exchange between several generations. After the work is done, everyone gets a little refreshment. All those willing to clean are cordially invited. The meeting point is the forecourt of the Annenschule, where equipment such as brooms, rakes, grabbers etc. will be provided by the ASR.
