Spring cleaning at the zoo
First young animals in the game enclosure
Call for spring cleaning at the zoo on Saturday, 30 March, from 10 a.m.
The ASR and Chemnitz Zoo are calling for a big spring clean at Chemnitz Zoo on Saturday 30 March. The meeting point is in the area in front of the ticket office, starting at 10 am. The equipment will be provided by the ASR. After the work is done, the hard-working helpers will receive a small snack, and anyone who wants to can spend the whole day in the zoo.

The game enclosure was badly damaged by the recent storms and was closed to visitors for several days. In the meantime, the roughest clean-up work has been completed and it is worth visiting again. The first young animals of the year can also be seen:
The wild boar currently have four young pigs and the first mouflon calf has arrived.
