Some school sports halls remain closed
14 selected sports halls are open from 18 May
As announced in press release 258, some school sports halls are exempt from opening from 18 May. Due to the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance, schools have increased space requirements. In order to maintain the necessary distance, the sports halls must also be used for regular lessons. For this reason, some school sports halls will remain closed for club sports until Sunday, 24 May.
The following municipally operated sports halls will reopen from 18 May:

- Sports hall at the Schloßteich
- Röhrsdorf sports complex
- Wittgensdorf sports complex
- Sachsenhalle
- Sports complex Grüna
- Sports hall Georgenkirchweg
- Jahnbaude sports complex
- Sports hall Adelsberg
- Sports hall Kleinolbersdorf
- Klaffenbach sports complex
- Sports halls Alfred-Neubert-Straße 21 b/23
- Neubauernweg sports complex
- Sports forum except swimming pool and sports hall school centre Sport.
