Situation analysis of conflicts in public spaces in Chemnitz

On Wednesday 18 December at 3 pm, VfB Salzwedel e.V. will present the initial results of the situation analysis on conflicts in public spaces in the city of Chemnitz. These are the result of the internal workshop that took place beforehand. Representatives of the media are cordially invited to the press conference.
Background:
In March 2019, Chemnitz City Council commissioned the city to carry out a needs assessment for conflict management in public spaces in the city of Chemnitz. The Verein zur Förderung der Bildung - VFB Salzwedel e.V. was awarded the contract for the participatory analysis in September 2019. The aim is to analyse and further develop opportunities and approaches for different actors in administration, politics and urban society that can help to deal with conflicts in a sustainable manner and improve the participation of citizens in community life.
