On Thursday, 19 December at 11 am and 3 pm, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to sing Christmas carols together. Course participants, instructors and employees of the adult education centre will gather on floors 4 and 5 around the central atrium of the TIETZ to sing Christmas carols together. This is a long-standing, popular tradition. All visitors and employees of the TIETZ as well as interested parties are invited to join in the singing.
Representatives of the media are also invited.
A special event is the Christmas carol singing for the participants of the German courses. They have been rehearsing three songs for days, which they will present on this day: "Oh Tannenbaum", "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen" and "Lasst uns froh und munter sein".
"For us, the annual Christmas carol singing is not just about getting in the mood for the upcoming festive season," says Grit Bochmann, Director of the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre. "Above all, it is a sign of peaceful, respectful and tolerant coexistence at the adult education centre and in Chemnitz."
