Singing Christmas carols together at the adult education centre
Invitation: On 14 December, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., atrium of the TIETZ
On Thursday, 14 December at 11 am and 3 pm, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to sing Christmas carols together. Participants, course instructors and staff will gather in the central atrium of the TIETZ to sing Christmas carols together. This revitalises and continues a long-standing, popular tradition. All TIETZ visitors and employees are invited to join in the singing.
Representatives of the media are also invited.
A special event is the Christmas carol singing for the participants of the German courses. They have been rehearsing three songs for days, which they will present on 14 December: "Oh Tannenbaum", "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen" and "Lasst uns froh und munter sein".
"For us, the annual Christmas carol singing is not just about getting in the mood for the upcoming festive season," says Grit Bochmann, Director of the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre. "Above all, it is a sign of peaceful, respectful and tolerant coexistence at the adult education centre and in Chemnitz."
