Singing Christmas carols together at the adult education centre

The long-standing tradition of Christmas carol singing will continue this year. On Thursday, 19 December at 11.30 a.m., the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's Christmas carol singing will take place. Participants, course instructors and staff will gather around the atrium of the TIETZ to sing Christmas carols together.

The Christmas carol singing is particularly exciting for the participants of the German courses. They have been rehearsing songs for days, which they will present on this day. They will sing "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen", "Oh Tannenbaum" and "Lasst uns froh und munter sein"

"For us, the annual Christmas carol singing is not just about getting in the mood for the upcoming festive season," explains Grit Bochmann, Director of VHS Chemnitz. "Above all, it is a sign of peaceful, respectful and tolerant coexistence at the adult education centre and in Chemnitz."

All visitors and employees of the TIETZ are cordially invited to sing along.
