Signet adorns the entrance to the fire station in future
Invitation to the handover on 22 July, 9.30 a.m., Fire Station 1, Schadestraße
On Friday 22 July at 9.30 a.m., Chemnitz City Fire Station 1, Schadestraße 11, will receive a new sign, which will be installed at the entrance to the yard. Mayor Ralph Burghart will unveil the sign, which was made possible by donations.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to the handover (entrance to Nicolaimühlengässchen).
The metal signet measures around 2.60 metres by 1.10 metres and features the words "Feuerwehr Chemnitz" and the lion from the Chemnitz coat of arms. The sign is a donation to the city fire brigade association. The company ITC Heckert donated 1,000 euros for it, with 300 euros coming from DEBEKA.
The donation was handed over in the presence of René Kraus, head of the fire service, and Bernd Stumm, ITC's operations manager.
