Show day at the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre on 30 January
Publication of the summer semester 2017 programme booklet
The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to a viewing day on Monday, 30 January 2017, from 10 am to 2 pm. The occasion is the publication of the new programme booklet for the 2017 summer semester. Following the online launch, the new programme booklet will now also be available in printed form. On this day, all interested parties are invited to familiarise themselves with the courses and activities offered by the adult education centre. The programmes are led by the adult education centre's lecturers and are free of charge.
Education is fun. This can be experienced and tried out with all the senses for four hours on this Monday: Visitors can try their hand at lace-making and tailoring, paper folding, drawing or paper cutting. Individual workshops invite visitors to get to know, participate in and try out creative and design courses offered by the adult education centre.
There will also be demonstrations by a professional magician, who will also be running a magic course at the adult education centre in March. Small culinary delicacies from corresponding courses will whet the appetite for healthy cooking. The corridors of the adult education centre will be transformed into a place of encounters and diverse experiences. There will also be a guided tour of the current exhibition "Happiness knows no disability" with photographs of families with children with Down's syndrome at 12 noon.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for information and counselling at the adult education centre. The reception desk will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the day.
