Short-term road surface renovation on Zschopauer Straße
Follow the diversion recommendation: One-way street regulation
From tomorrow up to and including Friday, Zschopauer Straße between Lutherstraße and Senefelder Straße will be resurfaced.
The road surface is badly worn on the landward side and potholes have already appeared in places. The civil engineering department therefore commissioned the replacement of the surface layer at short notice via the City of Chemnitz framework contract. The contract is worth 21,000 euros.
Traffic will be routed during the construction period: Traffic travelling towards the countryside will be one-way. The diversion towards the city centre will be via Andreasstraße, Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße and Lutherstraße. Measures to speed up traffic will be implemented on the diversion route (stopping bans, mobile traffic lights on Lutherstrasse, modified priority regulations for C.-v.-O.-Straße/Andreasstraße).
