Recent reports in particular have brought the topic as a whole and the darker side of online relationships back into the public eye.

Statistics show: More and more people are searching for love and lust online. The range of eroticised images, dating sites and sex services they encounter online is vast and available at any time.

In addition to new opportunities, digital services also harbour risks for users. The number of online-related acts of violence is on the rise. The risk of victimisation in the digital context is particularly high for people who have already been affected by violence in the past. How can protection be provided? What contribution can psychotherapy make?
