Sewer and road construction project in the Mittelbach district of Chemnitz
Road users please note the necessary full closure of Pflockenstraße in the area of Lindenweg and the end of the village from 2 July to 30 October 2013
From Tuesday, 2 July 2013, work will begin in the Mittelbach district of Chemnitz on a further sewer construction section for the further implementation of the wastewater disposal concept of the waste disposal company of the city of Chemnitz: in the second construction phase of the measure, separate wastewater and rainwater sewers will be laid on Pflockenstraße (from house number 11a) in the area between Lindenweg and the end of the village over a sewer length of 280 metres.
Following the sewer construction work, the city's civil engineering department will renew the surface course across the entire width of the road.
The sewer and road construction work should be completed by 30 October 2013.
The construction work will be carried out by the civil engineering company HTR GmbH, Lugau.
The total cost of this construction project is approximately €265,000.
Traffic restrictions: Residents and all other road users are asked to understand that due to the location of the two sewers in the road area, a full closure is necessary for the realisation of the construction work. However, local traffic is guaranteed. A signposted diversion via Oberlungwitz and Ursprung will be in place for cars and heavy goods vehicles.
