Several thousand visitors celebrate Bilderbuch

Chemnitz premiere of the four boys from Austria

Several thousand visitors from Chemnitz and the surrounding area celebrated the Austrian band of the same name in picture-book weather at the second Rock am Kopp 2015. DJ Sir Henry from the Chemnitz club Nikola Tesla, who played the warm-up, and the band fired up the crowd for almost an hour and a half in temperatures that were already over 25 degrees.

"Good evening Chemnitz", the band members greeted their fans and spectators in front of the Karl Marx Head. "Here's a present for you, from Vienna." And the numerous visitors gladly accepted the gift and celebrated a party with the four Austrians. It was Bilderbuch's first appearance in Chemnitz. After several major festivals such as Highfield, Melt!, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, they have now rocked the Kopp.

The organisers from Atomino and the city are also satisfied with the second concert and the atmosphere. "People had a lot of fun," says Katja Uhlemann, press officer for the city of Chemnitz. "It was great that so many people came."

Up to 5,000 fans watched the show on stage in front of the city's secret landmark, the Nischl.
