Several roads are being partially repaired
In preparation for the year of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, the Transport and Civil Engineering Office is having several roads partially repaired.
Brückenstraße between Mühlenstraße/Theaterstraße and Straße der Nationen
From Tuesday, 14 May to Thursday, 16 May, the top layer of asphalt will be milled off in the area of old potholes and broken pavements and repaved using asphalt pavers. The diversion in the direction of Theaterstraße will be via Bahnhofstraße and Theaterstraße. The Straße der Nationen carriageway will be restricted to one lane.
Hartmannstraße
From Friday, 24 May to Sunday, 26 May, the top layer of asphalt will also be milled off in the area of old potholes and broken pavements and relaid using an asphalt paver. Both directions of travel will be restricted.
Theaterstraße between Falkeplatz and the Kaßberg slip road
From Friday, 31 May to Sunday, 2 June, the top layer of asphalt will also be milled off in the area of old potholes and broken pavements and newly laid using an asphalt paver. The diversion in the direction of the Kaßberg slip road will be via Zwickauer Straße, Reichsstraße and Weststraße. Access to the Rosenhof multi-storey car park will be maintained. The lanes in the direction of Falkeplatz will be restricted.
The company Eiffage Infra-Ost GmbH has been commissioned with all of the above-mentioned services for a contract sum of approx. 200,000 euros.
