The Citizens' Office of the City of Chemnitz would like to once again draw your attention to the appointment booking service: In order to reduce waiting times, citizens who wish to contact the registration office of the City of Chemnitz with a request can reserve an appointment in advance - this appointment booking service is available via the public authority telephone number 115.
Appointments can be booked for the following services:
- Registration of residence when moving to Chemnitz
- Change of residence within Chemnitz
- Applying for an identity card
- Applying for a passport
- Applying for a child's passport
- Application for certificate of good conduct
- Application for an extract from the central trade register.
Appointments are only available for the registration office in the Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 09111 Chemnitz - appointments can be booked for the following times:
Monday: 8.30 am - 11.50 am
Tuesday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Thursday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Friday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.50 a.m.
Appointments are not available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Appointments can be made by dialling 115. To ensure that the staff have sufficient time to deal with your matter, please state the services you require when booking an appointment. Please keep the agreed appointments, as the appointment will be cancelled if you are late. If an agreed appointment is no longer required, please cancel in good time.
The appointment booking service via D 115 has been offered by the City of Chemnitz Citizens' Office since mid-July 2012.
