Senior chamber music on stage at the TIETZ
TIETZ sounds! with the DA CAPO ensembles of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School
The DA CAPO ensembles from Chemnitz Municipal Music School will be performing on stage at TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20 on Thursday, 23 June 2016 at 5 p.m. Under the direction of Roswitha Oelsner and Renate Kahre, they will be playing classical and light music together with Nancy Gibson, Director of Chemnitz Municipal Music School. Admission is free.
The diverse repertoire of the DA CAPO ensembles includes classical music, waltzes, marches and also interpretations of folk songs. The ensembles have already played at various events organised by the music school, in retirement homes, at birthday parties or festive events organised by clubs.
Roswitha Oelsner and Renate Kahre are qualified musicians. Their subject at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School is the violin.
"TIETZ klingt!" is a series of concerts organised by TIETZ, the City of Chemnitz's cultural enterprise, and the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. On one Thursday evening per month, pupils from the music school perform a concert on the stage at the TIETZ.
