Security point created in the city centre
City of Chemnitz and police department sign cooperation agreement - on 2 April, 2.30 p.m., Bahnhofstraße 50
On Tuesday, 2 April at 2.30 pm, Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and Police Chief Carsten Kaempf will sign a cooperation agreement between the City of Chemnitz and Chemnitz Police Headquarters on the operation of a security point in Chemnitz city centre.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
The new contact point for citizens will be set up at the central bus stop (Bahnhofstraße 50) and will be staffed by employees of the city's public order service and police officers, who will be available there as contacts from Monday to Saturday in the afternoon and evening hours. During major events in the city centre, the staff will be on site for longer if necessary.
