From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, 15 November, interested third and fourth grade students and their families are invited to the 15th Education Fair at Messe Chemnitz, Hall 2. Numerous secondary schools and grammar schools in the city of Chemnitz will be presenting their school concepts, specialisations and special offers.
Admission and parking are free of charge. Childcare is available for younger siblings, supported by the Vocational School Centre for Health and Social Services.
The education fair offers valuable guidance for families: Which school is best for the child? Secondary school or grammar school? State or privately funded? And what paths are open after leaving school? These and many other questions will be answered.
The schools will be providing information at their stands about their educational focus, all-day and study group programmes, opportunities for individual support and the promotion of gifted students. The foreign language programmes will also be presented. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk directly to teachers and pupils.
In addition to municipal and independent schools, the City of Chemnitz Education Authority and the Chemnitz State Office for Schools and Education will also be on site to provide information about school careers, educational pathways and qualifications.
