On Wednesday, 29 October, from 8 a.m., seven seating blocks will be delivered and installed around the market tree.
The colour scheme and shape correspond to the granite seating blocks at the market fountain, so that shapes, colours and materials form a harmonious unit. This is intended to round off the appearance of the area surrounding the market tree.
The seven seating blocks were supplied by Natursteinwerk Mittweida GmbH.
Employees from the City of Chemnitz's traffic and civil engineering department will assist with the unloading and installation using the appropriate technology.
The costs totalled just under 12,000 euros.
