Participation is free of charge. Sturdy hiking boots are required.
A herbal meal will be offered afterwards. The contribution towards expenses for this is 10 euros. Hikers who wish to arrive on Friday 24 August can enjoy a sociable evening around the campfire. The kunst-natur-landschaft series has taken place for many years with the Chemnitz Artists' Association, the Environmental Centre and the Tannenberg artist and conservationist Carl-Heinz Westenburger. Since 2017, the Chemnitz Environmental Centre has continued the traditional hike into the Ore Mountains with the Chemnitz Artists' Association in Rübenau, the largest scattered settlement in eastern Germany with its unique natural features.
