Search committee for the Directorate General of the Chemnitz Art Collections prepares succession
After more than 20 years of exceptionally successful work by Dr Ingrid Mössinger as Director General of the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, a search committee headed by Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig is currently preparing the handover of the baton for her successor.
The search committee includes Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig, Head of Cultural Operations Ferenc Csák and representatives of the city council's political groups represented on the Culture Committee as well as Director General Dr Ingrid Mössinger.
The change at the head of the art collections is expected to take place in the course of 2018. A corresponding advert for the position will be published this week in the weekly newspaper "Die Zeit" and online in various specialist media in the cultural sector.
