Friday, 13 September
Opening of the Days of Industrial Culture organised in Chemnitz from 13 to 15 September. The extensive programme of events for the fourth edition includes invitations to company tours for the "early shift" and the "late shift" as well as a visit to the Gründerzeit market and the "Industrial Worlds", which will be hosted this time in the former forming plant. Saturday, 14 September
The Rotary Club of Chemnitz will present six new memorial plaques in memory of important Chemnitz personalities as well as an extended exhibition in the Red Tower. The exhibition can be viewed as part of the programme of the Days of Industrial Culture on Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Information: www.grosse-chemnitzer.de
